VeriFactu, TicketBAI and NaTicket are electronic invoicing control systems designed to prevent tax fraud and improve the traceability of the income declared by self-employed professionals and companies. TicketBAI, already mandatory in the chartered territories of the Basque Country, requires invoices and receipts to carry a TBAI code and a QR code.
Meanwhile VeriFactu, driven by the Spanish Tax Agency for the common territory, and NaTicket, developed by the Chartered Tax Authority of Navarre, will come into force shortly, setting new technical requirements for invoicing software and for sending records to the respective tax administrations.
