Telmarkt is the only device that allows payment by Bizum on automatic machines. The system thus enables payment via QR code, with no app download, and at the same time makes it easy to connect to a card reader.
Aneda Expocongress was the venue chosen by Muxunav for the official launch of the Telmarkt device.
The main operators in the automatic distribution sector came by the fair stand, where they were able to see in person the “revolution” of this software, capable of renewing the functionalities of obsolete machines with minimal investment.
Muxunav took advantage of the event to unveil the new features developed by the company’s R&D department.
Among the great advantages the device offers is the enabling of machines to accept contactless payments, being to date the only device that offers payments by Bizum, as well as card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Telmarkt has also reinforced its operation in telemetry services. The operators who have already installed it on their machines can switch them on and off remotely, check their status —active or off— from their phone, see the date and time of the last sale, among other new features.
Age control by ID card
One of the major innovations developed by Muxunav this year has been the rollout of EDAD VALIDATOR, an app developed for Android and iOS that allows ID-card data to be read via the phone’s NFC sensor.
Using the application together with the Telmarkt device makes it possible to do away with activating tobacco machines via the remote control. Instead, the customer activates it directly after their age of majority is verified by reading the electronic ID card.
Telmarkt is already operational on thousands of machines across the country, with the Basque Country being one of the markets that has experienced the greatest growth in the last six months thanks to its capability to carry out TicketBAI invoicing, the tax rule applied by the Basque tax authorities to SMEs and the self-employed.
